DescriptionAny comic art collector that has an appreciation for a female form knows that Dave Hoover is one of the very best artists out there at capturing beauty and sensuality. He has a style that is very fluid and precise...and his sense of positioning and anatomy are nonpareil. To dovetail with that, I decided to commission him to render one of the most beautiful women in comics: Russian super-spy Natalia Romanova. Ah.... Gee, Carlos, do you own ALL the best stuff from CAF ? XD . Seriously, each time I say to myself "hey very cool pic", guess who is the owner ?? ;) it's been a while I'm trying to get something from him (original or commission) but it's VERY hard to reach an eventual store or commission price list indeed. Since he is on D.A too, I might try to send him a note I guess. :p

Back before I decided to become a member, I remember looking at this piece. Actually, I think the words 'staring at it' fit better. Dave captured the sensual nature of the femme fatale perfectly. It still takes my breath away. One of the most beautiful Hoover pieces I've seen.
