DescriptionWhen i was young, i would read comics just as one eats popcorn. It wasn't so much the stories or the characters or the art. Everything would get devoured with the same satisfaction. All of them, stories from the late 60's and 70's.... one of Marvel's best period and one of DC's most complicated times for someone who would just jump in and out every 6 months or so. I would delay myself over some pages. Didn't know why. Just delayed and then go on just to go back after finishing the story. The case in question: a Triton page from the Tales of the Inhumans back feature. (yes, i know... 3rd Kirby, 3rd Thor page... maybe it's a trend or something). Great panel composition and dynamics, with the police just popping in in the first panel and all those wonderful Triton shots. Sold as the best Triton page ever [exclamation point], even though i one or two pages from this story to be superior. Now, having achieved the superior (ahem, coff coff) wisdom of an adult, i'd only wish 2 things: 1. that i payed more attention to what i read as a child, since there was lots of good stuff passing by my hands that were not accordingly appreciated; 2. that i started this hobby sooner, as this is litterally killing my finantial life! Anyway, worth every penny :)) Social/Sharing |

If it's not the best Triton page ever, it's darn close. But I'd say that's the single best Triton PANEL ever! :)

The King at his peak as storyteller. Every panel holds classic Kirby poses.
