Fantastic cover-quality piece by Bagley on 11" x 17" board. My first Bagley piece too. NOTE: Neither myself nor Mark is entirely sure who inked this piece, although it would most likely have been Scott Hanna.

excellent acquisition!! Bagley has never drawn Captain America often but he does homage to the character. Can I ask if this was a commision or something he had on hand??

Thanks! Yes, this is the first Bagley Cap that I've seen; I'm more familiar with his Spidey art. It was something he had in-hand - a piece which he did for a Marvel-themed restaurant called the Avengers Cafe. I assume that it was probably used for marketing purposes, or featured on their menus or something.

Truth be told, I'm not sure, and neither was Mark himself (it done years ago). He said it was most likely Scott Hanna though.
