Description

Glen Sheffer was a Chicago area artist best known for doing one of the most iconic of the 1933 world's fair paintings. This is a later piece from a story about Desotos exploration of the Americas- very nicely painted .Another artist who was very good but due to his working in the midwest was not documented in the vqrious illustration guides that came out of New York. Born in Chicago I tend to collect a lot of the Midwest regional illustrators
