Will Eisner - The Spirit and self portrait

This is an A3-sized sketch of the Spirit by Will Eisner. I had the honour of hosting Will and his wife here in Lisbon, as I owned a comics shop and Will would be our guest at Amadora Cartoon '94. I never imagined he would accept the invitation, but he was probably convinced by our sunny city. The Eisners stayed for 3 days and regaled me with stories and anecdotes of the golden age. Happy days! Before he left, Will drew me a Spirit sketch (and himself in the upper-right corner). A rare honour, as Will wasn't drawing anymore.
