Description

A rare "illustration" as Basil calls such paintings, as opposed to a portrait, for which he is so well known. This scene from James Whale's "Bride of Frankenstein", captures the cunning of Dr. Pretorius as the Monster contemplates the possibility of a "mate" just for himself, compliments of the cunning skills of the good Dr. and his ability to manipulate Dr. Frankenstein.
