DescriptionCap drawn by the legendary and criminally underused Tony Salmons. Tony's art is an acquired taste -- but once acquired it sure tastes good. This piece wss originally supposed to be published in the Marvel Hard Cover book, Captain America: Red, White & Blue. Not sure why it wasn't published but having a Tony Salmons WWII era Cap story in the book makes up for it.Social/Sharing |

Another great piece. And I know what you mean about Tony being an acquired taste - I wish I had done some acquiring before you sold that amazing DD Yellow in the Boxing Ring pinup several years ago. I kept coming back to the auction but didn't put in a bid, and then it ended up criminally low. Oh well... add another one to the "woulda shoulda coulda" pile.

I stumbled upon Salmons' work when I picked up a pinup on eBay. Finding a piece by him is always a treat -- and this one is really nice.
