Description

Wonderful duotone work by Sienkiewicz on what I think is one of the most important bodies of work in his career in comics. He's made many a wonderful painting and mixed media piece, but the breakthrough New Mutants artwork was the first 100% all Sienkiewicz-styled work, excepting some of the last issues of Moon Knight that he illustrated. His run on NM from issue 18-31 was one of things that made me fall in love with comic art. My thanks to Ferran Delgado for parting with this great work of art.

Back then, monthly conics were the ground were the greatest talents could experiment and grow. Beautiful page from a beautiful series/run, congrats!
