Description

I not only got this sketch, not only got another in my copy of Maus: A Survivor's Tale, but I got to interview Mr. Spiegelman while he was doing a signing at Dreamhaven Books in Dinkytown for WMMR (now Radio K) College Radio at the U of MN! Quite a day for me! My first live radio remote and interview! Mr. Spiegelman was gratuitous while I cut into his signing for small, live interviews while at Dreamhaven. I also recall the weather becoming snowy and rotten. This was before he won the Pulitzer Prize and Greg Ketter, owner of Dreamhaven, won the Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award. Many thanks to both of them!
