I am a great fan of Fritz Leiber's Fafrd and Grey Mouser series especially the period from the late 50's to mid sixties- Ed Emsh did three covers for the series this is one of them showing the Mouser's darker side

And yes I do occasionally trade keepers for the right items- which is how this one got here!

I loved those stories, too, but I didn't see them until they were paperbacks. Great pickup.

This brings back fond memories of reading Fritz Leiber's Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser series. Another great painting!
