Description

Marvel just recently announced that they are releasing a Marvel Masterworks edition collecting the Black Panther run in JUNGLE ACTION. This is welcome news that was long overdue. And if you look a few inches above this text, you'll see some of the villains that gave the King of Wakanda such a hard time doing that run.

This is the inked version of the powerful pencils that Val Semeiks did so beautifully. Bringing it on home are the inimitable inks of the one and only Bob Almond. Check out the pencil version of this piece and the inked version above, and you'll know why Bob is my go-to guy when it comes to putting the finishing touches to gorgeous pencil-work.

Very cool. Love group pieces like this. Growing up one of the first comics I ever remember being mesmerized by was Jungle Action #15 with that great cover of BP being dropped onto those thorns against that green background.
