Description

These are the original pencils to cover 6 of Madame Xanadu, penciled by me, Amy Reeder Hadley, on DC cover board. It measures approximately 11x17 inches. Richard Friend inked over a printed blueline of these pencils.

Death--that's right, the fan favorite Endless from Neil Gaiman’s Sandman--guest-starred in this issue! I had SO much fun with this and have reluctantly decided that I could part with this cover…at a price. No plans at this time to sell additional covers, but we’ll see if I can bring myself to do so over time. Anyway, I hope it finds a good home!

Written by Matt Wagner and published through Vertigo, Madame Xanadu received four Eisner nominations in 2009: Best Writer, Best New Series, Best Penciller/Inker, and Best Cover Artist. The story explores the Madame's long past, spanning through Camelot, Kublai Khan's court at Xanadu, the French Revolution, Victorian England…and is quickly making its way to the Present.
