Hulk Gray / Tim Sale etched glass dome

A fully etched & painted 4x7 glass dome based on a splash page from Hulk Gray by Tim Sale. The entire piece is etched and then painted to match the original artwork of Iron Man's helmet reflecting the image of the attacking gray Hulk. I created the refection of the Hulk on helmet in the ink wash style Mr. Sale did through out the series. The reverse has the Hulk Gray logo, Tim Sale's name, Marvel Knights logo and prototype edition number etched in and lightly painted over. I didn't want the logos to take away from the fact that it was the back of Iron Man's helmet. The wood base was painted to match his shoulder mountings. One signed edition will be raffled at the 2010 Emerald City Comicon Hero Initiative booth.
