Description

Jim was dreaming about the opportunity to commission Doug for months before he decided on JLA villain Prometheus. Jim was first in Doug's line and he talked with Doug for at least an hour while he drew this 11x17 showstopper. I think it's a perfect choice for Doug because he draws Grant Morrison concepts so well. . . Jim and Doug share an enthusiasm for weightlifting, and Doug is also a champion bodybuilder in Minnesota. Thanks, Doug-- you've made Jim an extremely happy camper!

VERY COOL ! Prometheus is indeed a great choice for Mahnke to draw (and it's the first time I'd seen Doug's take on him). I'd love to see him do a full issue with the character... But I guess it aint' gonna happen anytime soon...(at least until BLACKEST NIGHT II)...
