Description

I know that for many of you, Gabriele Dell'Otto = painted piece, but, when I saw this one in person, I totally fell in love instantly : I had to get it, and maybe because I already had one of his best painted covers :)

Having asked every day my friend to sell it to me, he finally accepted (probably because he's my best friend ;) THANKS AGAIN BRO, and a big thanks to David also.

It’s one of the oldest work done by Gab (1999), one of his first published covers, only penciled and inked, which is very rare.

It’s was published in France as a variant cover for the X-Men #37 and in Germany as the cover of Wolverine #33. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do… ;)

I am not into painted comic art - that iw why I am not very familiar with Dell'Otto's work. But this is more my turf and his take on such established characters is truly fresh. Great piece!
