Description

I contacted Gene Gonzales to do a piece that would be sort of an homage to the Neal Adams/ Denny O'Neil Batman era. Here's my request from the email: "I started thinking it might be fun to do a piece where maybe you just see in the foreground Batman's glove holding a batarang like he's walking in to Ra's lair and a torn Talia between him and her father Ra's who has his sword drawn ready to have it out with the detective once and for all." Gene did a fantastic job and the way he framed the piece is brilliant. I highly recommend him for commission work ! Gene is a great pin up artist and you can see more of his work in his CAF gallery. A great commission, Brian. I always loved the triangle between Talia, Ra's and The Detective. This piece portrays that conflict perfectly. Congrats.
