Description

Joe Jusko and I share an appreciation for John Buscema. Like John, Joe does not seem to do a lot of DC work. Which is why it was fun to ask Joe for a JSA character. It was a tossup between Dr. Mid-Nite and Alan Scott. Since I had already been able to get Francesco Francvailla and Chris Sambee to do Dr. Mid-Nite, I opted for Alan Scott, a wise choice from where I am sitting.

My wife particularly liked this one because of the background that Joe added to the piece. Adding to the experience was a ten minute conversation I enjoyed with Joe as he finished up the commission talking about John Buscema and Jack Kirby�s inkers.
