Cartoonist AL CAPP (1909-1979) created "Li'l Abner," regarded by many as the greatest comic strip of all time. Mammy (Pansy) Yokum gets a lesson in the inner-workings of the Welfare State from a politician vaguely reminiscent of Edward Kennedy in this Li'l Abner daily. One of the most popular newspaper strips of all time, Al Capp's creation ran for over 40 years in newspapers throughout the world. This art has an image area of approximately 19" x 5.5".
