There's a lot to love in this pinup by Gene Gonzales, but I'll point out two things that endear it to me. One, Gene draws Mary in her classic Golden Age innocence, not the trashy image of modern-day DC's approach to the character. Two, rather than show the oft-drawn post-"Shazam!" lightning strike, Gene chose to capture Mary "One Minute Later" (trademark of CAF member Michael Finn), with smoke rising from the mountaintop beneath her feet.
