Description

Getting something by Jimmy Cheung has been at the top of my list for a year or so now and I was thrilled to finally make this happen at Heroes Con '10. Though I realize my gallery doesn't reflect it, I'm a HUGE Jean Grey/Phoenix/Dark Phoenix fan. I was hoping for a full commission but Jimmy's list was full before the show even started....grrrrrrr!!! As luck would have it though friend/fellow CAF member/all around good guy Shannon Slayton let me know Jimmy was signing/sketching at the Hero Initiative booth the last day of the show. I'm not giving up on the full commission but this will definitely make the waiting easier. Jimmy was super-nice and did some awesome head sketches that were cool to witness while waiting. I met a couple of other cool CAF folks in line that day as well so it was a great experience.

Great choice and glad Jim added some of the phoenix detail on her chest.
