Description

I've tried to get an Adam Hughes for a while. Allison told me at Baltimore to remind Adam that I had been on his list to increase my odds at New York. Adam and Allison both remembered me as I handed over one of my sketchbooks. At the end of the con, I was told that I had made the cut! Unfortunately they forgot that I had given them my sketchbook and Adam had done it on a separate piece of paper. That was partially my fault in that I had given them a brand new book and didn't put my name in it. They apologized and asked if I still wanted it. Of course I wasn't going to turn it down. Finally scored my first Hughes. Thanks again to Adam and Allison for this beauty.

Wow. That is great. Yeah, Hughes is the like the holy grail. But like all his work, it looks like it was worth the wait, and you have a great story to go with it.
