Art should be seen, not hidden away. So here's some of my art collection... When I first started collecting comic art, I thought it was rare (the vintage stuff). And it is rare. But there's still a whole lot more of it than I thought... My tastes lean towards artists that pencil and ink their work. Or have fully demonstrated that they can ink their work. Not sure why that is. But N i c k C a r d y is a prime example. We miss you, Nick!!! Needless to say, I grew up a DC fan. I'm lucky to be the caretaker of so much art from many of my favorite artists ( especially Nick ).

* Unless specified otherwise, no art is "for sale". But feel free to ask. If you see any of this art "for sale" elsewhere, it is bogus.
* Looking for any Alex Ross art featuring Black Canary III from Kingdom Come. Got it... yeeee haaaww !!!
* Hoping to acquire a great Mike Nasser 70's or 80's Black Canary convention sketch.
* I'm looking for any and I mean any art by Nick Cardy (covers, pages) including (but not limited to) :
  Teen Titans 16, 28 ... Falling in Love 79 ... Congo Bill 1 - 7 ... Bat Lash 1 - 7
  Brave & Bold 91 ( Batman / Black Canary ) ... House of Mystery ... Tales of the Unexpected

* Biggest comics art pet peeve: Artists not using the reference that was provided. Aaaaargh!!! To avoid ridiculing these artists, I'm not posting their art.
* Biggest comics pet peeve: "Neil Adams"... Why, why, why??? Can't they spell his name correctly?? It's N-E-Aaa-L-Adams... RIP 1941 - 2022
* Why Black Canary?? I like the character and the costume. But in real life, I prefer brunettes.
* Random thought: I'm really depending on those Itoyas to be acid-free.
* Note to self: Adopt the Eric DLS "no commission" rule as my own. I've accumulated my share of bad experiences..
* Inspired by BobH's post in Steve Bissette's Kirby lawsuit blog entry, my CAF descriptions credit the character's creators. Thanks, Wikipedia. Except for one slipup, I haven't purchased a new Marvel product since at least 2013.
* Vampires vs Werewolves... Werewolves vs Vampires... Just remember what started it all... Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein !!!
