FYI - Nick told me his favorite Aquaman issues (interior art-wise) were his last 3 (37, 38, 39). Because the stories had more action and Nick was doing more with the blacks. Nick was genuinely modest about his work and was more interested in the design and composition than the story. Meaning he wasn't really a super-hero "fan".
