SCHAFFENBERGER... Kurt Schaffenberger
Kurt Schaffenberger knew how to draw. Period. His Lois Lane was tops. A Golden Age artist who made it well into the Silver Age. Somehow, his style didn't seem to change very much. It wasn't old, it was classic. And wholesome. Maybe Schaffenberger wouldn't do well drawing the X-Men. But there isn't one Schaffenberger story you wouldn't be afraid to show to a 6 year old.
Although he's had some great inkers, noone inked Kurt better than Kurt. Amazing work with that brush.
Rest in Peace, Kurt Schaffenberger.
