ARTIS... Tom Artis
Tailgunner Jo was one of DC's limited series that were based on totally new characters. The other one I remember was Spanner's Galaxy. DC could never really make up their minds. 4 issues?? 8 issues?? 6 issues?? 12 issues??
Tailgunner Jo was a 6 issue series. The guy you see there is Jo's father. He has guns fused to his back. Jo's consciousness is in his mind. They travel around wreaking vengeance. Vengeance!!! Haven't looked at those comics in a while but I remember Tom Artis' art was amazing.
