CARDY - Teen Titans 17 ( last pencils and inks until TT 25 )

As advertised on the cover, Teen Titans 17 featured the return of the Mad Mod, who was last seen in Teen Titans 7. No matter the issue, you know it was definitely the '60s !!!

Art-wise, TT 17 was significantly different from TT 13 and TT 16, the last 2 issues where Nick penciled and inked the story. In fact, before TT 13, the last issue pencilled and inked by Nick was TT 7, the first appearance of the Mad Mod.

In TT 13 and TT 16, Nick had a lot of brush work. In TT 17, Nick was clearly experimenting with varying line thicknesses and used the pen and dry brush more than any previous issue of Teen Titans. It was about this time that Nick started working on Bat Lash which was similar to TT 17 as far as Nick's technique.
