Nick drew a few DC romance covers. Like the DC horror/mystery covers, they looked unique even though the premise always seemed to be the same.

The best thing is we would always be treated to a Cardy girl.

Good point. Whether or not you read the books, you have to love the Cardy girls on the fronts of the issues he did!

Nick Cardy could do it all. He's famous for his superhero stuff, but he did an amazing job on the Romance Comics as well. They're not my jam, but even I can see the quality of the work he put into them. This cover for Girl's Love Stories shows his incredible skill at drawing beautiful women. He clearly put a lot of effort in them. Just look at the delicate way Nick rendered the hair--It's amazing! The features of the guy and the girl are beautifully done as well and give a remarkable impression of real people. Thanks for sharing this!
