George Clark - The Neighbors - 1944 Radio Program

One of my favorite George Clark The Neighbors panels. This piece is just a brush & ink delight, as Clark seemed to really enjoy drawing the work table of the fix-it guy. And the body language of the figures....just great. That little kid anchors the whole scene with such sweet and solid drawing. His father explains the dire situation to the fix-it guy: "But that radio has got to be fixed today! My kid can't do his homework unless he's listening to a murder program!" It doesn't get much better than this for George Clark fans. 11/4/44.
