In the Puirple mask Play Brixey was the villain (thoug has a polcieman he reall yshould have been the hero- all depends on how you view the monarchy- the writer saw kings as positive)
Great example of Smiths art- done either as a desing job for a silent film or a local version of the international play tha was popular at the time
