There is a VERY LONG story that goes along with this so I'll keep it short. Philip was selling one of his warm up pieces a couple of months ago (Mr. Freeze) and I didn't have the money to bid on it. I was crushed! So when I saw his name on the list for the NYCC this year I commissioned him for this piece to be picked up at NYCC last week and unfortunately he wasn't able to get it done. He was the nicest guy. We talked for a little while and I watched him work on other people's BEAUTIFUL pieces. He told me that he would get it done and mail it to me. Wow!!!! I just happened to stumble onto this on Kirk's (Philip's rep) site. It's on its way!!!! A big thanks again to Kirk for setting this up and as always to the talented Philip Tan. You are a true gentleman. I really appreciate your time and energy.

That is one of the coolest things that I've ever seen! As one who is privy to the backstory on this piece, I feel like it is both well-deserved and even better than I could have imagined. Congrats, Patrick! You must be thrilled.

I love your freeze gallery but this is one that sticks out , love the pose color tone and background , it's a perfect Freeze piece .

I have no idea which piece was the one you missed, but I'm quite positive this one is probably better ! quite possibly the best Phillip Tan piece I'd ever seen ! Everything about it is pitch perfect ! Congrats !
