Une illustration NB publiée dans la guerre de Vendée, un ouvrage historique qui regorge d'images de ce type et qui est à conseiller rien que pour admirer tout ça. Chevaux, dynamisme, l'emploi de la gouache blanche et du lavis donne beaucoup de relief à ce dessin.

Tout le génie de Follet dans cette illustration en deux temps : immobilité mortuaire au premier plan et un mouvement très impressionnant en arrière-plan. Superbe !
