Description

Those of you who check my gallery out know how I usually like to get commissions: I tell the artists I work with what characters I'd like to see and that they're free to draw them doing whatever they'd like. I tell them that I would almost prefer they not be in costume, either...just doing fun, everyday stuff. I find that I get some of my favorite pieces in this way, giving the artists the freedom to do what they do best: create. This piece is one such commission, I told Adam Withers--one half of the ultra-talented husband and wife pair that created The Uniques comic book--I'd like to see Maxine and Courtney from the JSA. With those instructions, he provided this great piece in which they're playing Nintendo Wii Tennis! So classic! Thank you so much, Adam!! I love it!!! :D
