DescriptionThis is a page of the first Avengers issue I read as a kid.It belonged to another collector and I left a comment saying how much I liked it. Years later, he contacted me. He wanted to sell that piece and he thought it will be a good idea to contact first the people who had left comments to see if they were interesed. As you can see, I was! Thanks, Ulrich! Ah, Avengers 83, the male chauvinist pigs cover. Probably one of the few all woman Avengers issue from that era. I don't have a Avengers 83 in front of me, but this has to be one of the nicer pages of the book. I especially like the second and last panels. BTW, #85 was the first Avengers issue I ever purchased/read. I have to admit, #83 was the more interesting read of the two comics. Great pick up.

Great page, from a great book! I loved Marvel's clouded take on feminism circa 1970. I am saying how much I like this. If, years later, you want to sell this piece, it will be a good idea to contact the fourth person to leave a comment to see if he is interested!

Damn.. nice page with some great Marvel women represented. Valkyrie never looked better. Cool that leaving the comment about interest worked out.

One of the best issues of Buscema and Palmer's run on Avengers. First panel is a marvel!
