We met Dan at a small convention in 2000, and commissioned a sketch from him. Toward the end of the con we showed up for it, and he felt so bad that he hadn't drawn one yet that he practically gave us this page. It was a great find, as it was from a favorite issue of mine growing up (I still have my original), and very surreal to see a page from a comic I read dozens of times as a kid actually hanging on my wall!
