Swamp Thing by Chris Weston

I can't remember which booth, but Chris was there drawing for charity. This beauty was mine for a donation of I believe $15 or $20.

Chris is an exceedingly courteous fellow, and it was a delight to watch him draw this. He took about 20 minutes (apologizing throughout!) and must've switched between (multiple) markers about 100 times to give this drawing it's tremendous depth. I asked him for Swamp Thing in particular because I first became aware of his fine work on an issue of Swampy from Mark Milla'r's now classic "River Run" from the last days of the 1980's and 90's series.
