Dooney, Michael - TMNT Team

Here's a Christmas present from my wonderful fiancée. She tells me she talked to Michael Dooney about this at NYCC 2010. We had already been to his table once or twice for some sketches, prints, etc., but apparently she went back later when I wasn't around. The two have been in touch via e-mail since.

Mike has told me a few times that he doesn't do group shots often because "it feels too much like real work", so I don't know what kind of magic was at play that convinced him to do one for her/me. Knowing this, I was FLOORED when she handed me the piece and I looked at it for the first time.

My eyes were quickly drawn to the graffiti on the wall featuring our initials, a great personal touch. He also put Don right up front when she told him he was my favorite of the group. They even knew that I'd get suspicious seeing "Michael Dooney" as the sender, so he put a different return address on the box. Sneaky.

A big thanks to both my fiancée and Michael Dooney for setting this whole thing up! Definitely a gem in my collection.
