Viking and Dragon

The dragon is down. The viking need only to strike the final blow. Will he do it? Or will he show mercy? Me… I think he's getting ready to cleave it's head clean off… but I may feel different the next time I look at it. One part Frazetta mixed with one part Jack Kirby thrown together with one part that's just pure me. This painting is 9x12 inches on 80lb water color paper.
