Description
As part of my re-Legion search I found an Aquaman cover to honor Ferro Lad's sacrifice and a Weird war tales cover to capture the tragic death of Invisible Kid. I was searching for something to honor the heroic and under-used and unappreciated Legionnaire, Chemical King who gave his life slowing down a nuclear reactor and preventing World War V111. When I saw this cover, I knew we had something. I met Greg Fisher ( inkwell@comcast.net) at the New york Con and he went above and beyond the call by also coloring the piece. Chris Ivy helped us with a logo and I think it worked very well. Finally Chemical King gets a cover that he deserved.

Not familiar with Greg Fisher's work, but he did a great job on this commission. And I really like the logo by Chris Ivy! By the way, I agree, Chemical King is one of those often overlooked Legionnaires, so it's nice to see a tribute to the character.
