Description

This was the issue of the New Mutants in which Claremont and Sienkiewicz introduced us to Warlock, who is still one of my favorite Marvel characters to this day. Here we see Warlock showing the mutants the horrifying reality of his home world and his narrow escape from death at his own father's hands. A genuinely magnificent page. As well as the great Warlock bits, Doug's sarcastic reply to Sam remains one of my favourite Cypher moments! Kudos my friend on a terrific acquisition!

That page is incredible. I still can't believe how far SIenkiewicz was able to go in a "traditionnal" comic book. Congrats for one of the best page of that classic run !
