DescriptionClarke produces gorgeous work and did so with this wraparound One Minute Later but......it is an exercise in frustration to deal with him and required assistance from a comic professional to actually get the piece and calls and calls and calls to Clarke's home. I would not pay him in advance but he does very nice work so if you have patience and keep your money in your wallet, you will be rewarded.Bob Almond, who inked this piece, on the other hand is a JOY to work with. Responsive to a fault, great communicator and just a total professional. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Bob. Social/Sharing |

The amazing thing is that sometimes, the OML exceeds the original. This Hawbaker/Almond piece is right in that tradition.

Not only amazing, but spectacular too! I'll also chime in about Bob Almond -- the best in the business for commission inking.

I gotta agree with Damon that this piece is even better then the original with no disrespect intended. Another Amazing piece!

Just stumbled across this , and those are some of the slickest blacks to grace a page! Bob did a spectacular job on this. Sorry to hear about the trials and tribulations on getting the pencils though.

I haven't seen any new work by Hawbaker in quite a few years. However did you find him to commission this very cool piece?
