Description
When I saw this I had to have it. This is one of the images from Adam Kubert's run that just won't leave the mind. I feel blessed to have gotten this from him almost 20 years ago. I think it is one of the best images he has ever done cover or no...

Great, great page. I am almost positive it is from Wolverine #75 after his adamantium got ripped out in X-Men #25 as part of the Fatal Attractions crossover. Just a great image. Thanks so much for sharing.

Your right. It is from 75. Really wanted this page back then. It also became the basis for a trading card.

I guess I'm late to the game on this, but WOW! One of my favorite pages from Adam's Wolverine run. I always wondered where this one was. My favorite illo from Wolverine 75. So cool! Glad to know where this one is, and that it's got a good home!

I agree with you 100% that this represents Kubert's finest hour. If you were going to only have one representative page of his work, this is it!

Incredible art that you certainly cannot get out of your mind! Even the butterfly is majestically rendered!

This IS a great image; but it's really taken over the top by the dialogue... I mean isn't that a huge part of the beauty of comics, the fusion of words and images to create something more than the sum of its parts? It is for me, and this is a superb example of the medium. Congrats, and thanks for sharing.

How have I not commented on this page? What a stunning example of Adam Kubert's spectacular work on Wolverine! Love the composition, the figurework and the beautiful linework.
