Description

This is the original comic art to Madame Xanadu #18, page 1: Madame Xanadu and her many cats prepare for a faceoff with the enemy in this strikingly designed opener. It's penciled by me, Amy Reeder, and inked by Richard Friend! I drew it on standard DC comic board and it measures approximately 11 x 17 inches.

Written by Matt Wagner and published through Vertigo, Madame Xanadu received four Eisner nominations in 2009: Best Writer, Best New Series, Best Penciler/Inker, and Best Cover Artist. This particular page is from the story arc "Broken House of Cards."
