Description

(September 1942) (Quality Comics)
In a recent Alter Ego interview Gill Fox recalled,
"I remember when Jack [Cole] brought in the first �Plastic Man� and we were all elated.
It was something with a totally different look and thinking.
[Everett �Busy�] Arnold recognized fairly quickly that he had a hit here."
Gill Fox ultimately became an editor for Quality Comics,
and the editors did the early covers in-house. Fox would do a preliminary cover concept
and then submit it to Everett "Busy" Arnold for approval.
Gill Fox said, �Arnold always approved the covers.�
