Steve did a great job pencilling this piece and it is also the 1st ink job were I could feel an "ink style" start to develop..just needed to put the crow quill down and use the brush more. Mark Beachum & Mark Texeira helped quite abit in teaching me how to not be afraid of the brush and "inking" in general.. It's all drawing. Strange how this art ties into the Countdown stuff Rags & I did earlier this year.

I like how Peacemaker's helm look metallic. This is one of my favorite Checkmate covers.
