In a world where heroes are villains and villains are heroes there existed a man named the Jokester. A struggling comedian until he found a shtick, making fun of the Crime Society's Owlman and his sidekick Talon. Owlman didn't take kindly to this, soon after he killed Harleen Quinzel the manager of the now great comedian and scarred his face.

And so the comedian known as Jackie became the Jokester, and some would say went mad.

Soon after he joined the Riddler family which consisted of Riddler himself, Three Face (one of her personalities being his former lover Evelyn Dent) and Jackie and Evelyn's daughter Duela Dent who after her father took the codename Joker's Daughter (as her mom always said her dad was such a joker).

The group then began to really fight back against Owlman and Talon.
