Metaphrog Louis painting no. 2

Bought in June 2004, when my wife and I had just learned we were going to have a baby. At the time we didn't even know what sex the baby was going to be, let alone what name he would have (yes, it's a boy!), so we referred to him as "Bean," since a book we had just read told us he was about the size of a bean just then. And that's who we asked Sandra and John to dedicate it to. It's a beautiful little gouache painting, reproducing a panel from their latest "Louis" book; and it's hanging in the nursery, of course.
