This is from the first Kirby book I owned, and it had always been my favorite page of that book. As you can see from some of the other pages I own (by Ivan Brunetti, Tony Millionaire, etc.), I am very interested in silent sequences, in the narrative power of images on their own. I can think of few other such purely silent sequences in Kirby, or in classic mainstream comics as a whole.
