Marvel Comics, 2009 - 17"x11" - Watercolor over original pencils.

I was caught by this colorful and calm Silver Surfer staring at infinity.

There is some kind of harmony, like a music made by all colors and I'm so glad it's now in my collection.

I'm with you on this one. The variety of colors, and how they're mixed, really are an impressive way of showing the complexity of everything around him(infinity). Makes for a great contrast to his stoic and simple form.

Maleev always utilizes color in the most amazing ways... The Surfer provides a perfect subject for him, and I'm sad we never saw Alex draw more of him... Beautful image! :)
