The cover to the original Hot Blood erotic horror story collection edited by Jeff Gelb and published by Pocket Books. Richard Newton was famous for the step-back portrait illustrations in many of V.C. Andrews novels. This art is a portrait on which the tear back reveal of monster eyes has been paintied.
