Phil Jimenez - The Beast

Phil is the man at conventions! Always friendly and engaging and, obviously, a hell of an artist! At the 2011 Pittsburgh Comic Con, we chatted about everything from TV shows to wedding fashion to favorite characters. Amongst these talks, we had the opportunity to get some amazing sketches!

I really enjoyed Phil's run on New X-Men, too, so a Beast sketch was something I was hoping for. Phil makes the cat-like beast look fantastic, right down to the eyeglasses. Especially fond of the background wit the cat running in the moonlight. Little touches like that really make a piece of artwork shine!
